Meetings of the Society

Society meetings are held at 2.00 p.m.* on the first Friday of the month at the Bendigo Library, Hargeaves Street, Bendigo. The entrance to our meeting room is to the right of the main Library entrance.

Coming Talks
January: No Meeting
5 February - Terry Davidson: 'Basil Watson, Bendigo Aviator.'
5 March - Ruth Ford: 'Women of Bendigo'

Casual visitors (non-members) are welcome to attend meetings of the Society. Meetings generally take the form of a talk by a guest speaker with a subsequent social gathering.Fire at Mining Exchange, 1871

There is a brief monthly business of the Society at these meetings but the formal work of the Society is conducted by the elected Committee which meets monthly prior to each general meeting. We welcome visitors to our meetings.

The Annual General Meeting is held in August of each year.

For members who cannot attend a meeting in Bendigo, there is a summary of the month’s meeting activity and guest’s talk in the society’s newsletter ‘Marunari’ which is distributed to members each month.
