Have you seen the ghostsigns of Bendigo?
Back by popular demand, this history walk through the Bendigo CBD will examine existing advertising and business signs of the past .These signs are commonly referred to as ghost signs and they often go unnoticed. Learn where these signs are located and hear the stories behind them.
Felicity Woodward has been documenting ghost signs in Bendigo for more than ten years. A teacher with a passion for local history, Felicity is also a volunteer at Bendigo History House and runs the instagram site and facebook group Bendigo Ghostsigns.
Join Felicity on a leisurely stroll down View St, through the Hargreaves Mall area, down to the Chinese Museum and back via Pall Mall. Wear good footwear and bring a coat. You will be able to visit the History House Museum at the end of the walk.
