Guest speaker James Lerk, Bendigo historian, will tell how he rescued legal papers from a waste bin following a fire in 2003. Many of the papers offer a valuable insight into the range of clients and the nature of a notable Bendigo legal business between the 1880s and 1920s. Free event.
